Welcome to Horizons Therapy

This is a picture of me. I'm a white male, with blue eyes and brown curly hair.

I am David Palmstrom, I offer therapeutic counselling on an open-ended basis. This means that you have someone to talk to regularly for as long as you want.

I offer support to individuals, couples and people in all types of relationships.

Have a look at the way I work and if it sounds like what you are looking for, message me for a free introductory call.

There’s no commitment or expectation for us to work together following that.

A few reasons people ask for my help

  • A landscape of rolling hills under a gray, cloudy sky. There is a river running through the valley between the hills.

    Depression

Feeling low, hopeless or unbearably stuck.

  • Close-up of tree branches and bark with sunlight shining through leaves in background.

    Anxiety

Continuously worrying. Negative self-talk and spiralling thoughts.

  • A man and woman holding hands, wearing a pink shirt and a light blue dress, with the man wearing a gold watch.

    Relationships

Family, friends, colleagues, partner. Losing yourself in what others want. Difficulty trusting others and youself.

  • Close-up of an old brick wall with black and gray mold or lichen growth and dirt on the surface.

    Burn-out

Tired all the time. Simple decisions seem insurmountable.

A few reasons people in relationships ask for my help

  • Close-up of a thick, tan-colored climbing rope knotted around a person wearing dark green clothing.

Together, we can build stronger communication skills and navigate conflict productively.

  • Two small boats floating on calm water, secured with buoys.

    Disconnection

Sometimes, we all drift apart. Our work will be around helping you to reconnect and feel closer.

  • Wooden signpost with arrows pointing left labeled 'West' and right labeled 'South' against a blue sky with some clouds.

    Adjusting to Changes

Change can be daunting. Let’s explore how you can make it work for your relationship. Navigating the change together, you can emerge stronger.

  • Two elderly people sitting in blue beach chairs on the sandy shore, facing the ocean, with a blue bag beside them under a partly cloudy sky.

    Building Foundations

Don’t let small issues become big problems. Strong foundations lead to lasting relationships. We can build yours brick by brick.
